How to Connect External Keyboard to Laptop?
If you own an external keyboard, the first step is to connect it to your laptop. Most keyboards have USB ports and they can be plugged into them. To connect your keyboard to your laptop, you must plug the cable into a USB port on your laptop.
Be sure that your laptop is turned off before connecting the external keyboard to your computer. If your laptop has a Thunderbolt or USB Type-C port, you must purchase one that supports these connectors.
